Describe classroom rules routines, and relationships in your field experience.

InTASC Standard #3: Learning Environments states that: “The teacher works with others to create environments that support individual and collaborative learning, and that encourage positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.”Describe classroom rules routines, and relationships in your field experience. Consider the following ideas:Rules:Are 3-5 classroom expectations clearly stated and posted? Are consequences (positive or negative) clear and consistent? Are appropriate behaviors positively reinforced?Routines:Are classroom routines posted or clearly apparent? How are changes in routine managed? Are routines consistent enough that most students can self-regulate?Relationships:Do teachers, aids, and other adults working with students foster positive relationships? How do you know?Is there mutual respect between the teacher and aids, with a clear understanding of the teacher as the authority figure in the classroom? Are opportunities for positive peer interactions evident in the classroom? Finally, what practices have you observed that you will employ in your own classroom and what might you add or do differently, if anything?
