Each Student will prepare 5 page doubled spaced typed paper (12 font). The paper will have a title page and a reference page, which are not counted when meeting the minimum of required pages.  While special attachments to the paper may enhance the students’ efforts they do not help meet the minimum length requirement.Research Paper Topic:Research and describe in detail a police/corrections misconduct case which had an impact on the criminal justice system. Please cite the source and all related research material used. (The Instructor will research the specific case cited)  In your research, describe how ethical decision making played a role in the misconduct and how the misconduct could have potentially been avoided. (Hiring, training, supervision, ect.) Learning Objective 3Secondly, describe how the case you cited impacted the criminal justice system. Also, describe how the case may have potentially tainted the public’s view of the criminal justice system, law enforcement, corrections, ect.  A majority of the cases you research will be geographically based so cite how the cases may potentially impact a geographical area (state, county, city, ect.)  Learning Objective 4At the end of you research paper; describe how the misconduct you researched impacted your view of law enforcement, corrections, legal system, ect.
